the new city "flower of the east" is articulated in three zones, reflecting through architectural expression their proper identity and radiation:
- the open and serene "tent city", oriented onto the sea, incorporation recreation sport and leisure installations, but also conference and convention facilities as well as luxurious dwellings.
- the "stony city" comprising two sectors, first the business district with various shopping possibilities offices services and luxusrious dwellings as well as the "harbour city" reserved only to dwellings. here arises a city quarter out of a traditional courtyard -house system, matching with climatical and cultural circumstances and representing the mordern interpretation of an islamic city. a 50m broad arcaded "promenade" with its shaded evergreen palm allee, various shops, tea and coffee houses shapes the main zone of the "stony city",even the whole city.
-the island with sail-houses. avoiding the rivalry with "flower of the east" this assembly of residential towers is a landmark for visitors coming from sea or land.
